Nong nong ago~

Been clearing out a lot of stuffs for the past 2 weekends. They consist mainly of old textbooks and worksheets. Thanks to my mum's fabulous housekeeping skills, some of my primary school books are still preserved well!

Some of the interesting findings:
  • Found a primary 6 science revision book, "Federal Total Revision. Science. For Primary Six", that was published in 1988! In the book, the owner's name, should-be class and tel no. was found. Ma...thanks for being so thoughtful~ I was only 1.
  • Found my Sec 1 journal. Inked, puny handwriting. Really nostalgic when I read through the entries.
  • Looked through my Sec 1 composition file. My writing skills sucks but I guessed it was worst then. *haha* Read through my essay titled "My Sister". *haha* Anyways, I found 2 model essays given to us by Mrs Anne Lim, one by Mandia and the other by Sihui.
  • My Sec 1 History textbook! I remembered how kB and I (mainly kB) would joke about some of the names found in the book. Names included the Aryans, Chandragupta, Parameswara and Xiongnu.
  • I also found a lot of newspaper cuttings (both English and Chinese). They were usually our holiday homework. I remembered how I would like to choose articles about accidents for my Chinese jian3 bao4. pH had always been helping me with my jian3 bao4s. pH, THANKS!

Despite clearing several bag full of books and papers, the house still look really messy. My hunger to clear and throw away things is getting bigger! I feel like giving my house a make-over by starting to destroy the unused and unwanted. However, as much as I want to destroy everything, there would be some things that would bring back memories and those I would like to keep. I also helped clear my bro's and sis' stuff! I cannot and would not want their things to accumulate through the ages before they realise that they have to clear them.

a form of escape
